I am an animal lover. I love dogs...and other animals I'm sure. I'm just not a fan of farm, wild, or zoo animals. Something about them just makes me uneasy.
The crazy part about this episode is that it almost didn't happen. We drove an hour to the zoo, got set up, and then realized we didn't have any tape! We were set to shoot the marmoset first, because it needed it's breakfast, but by the time we got back with the tape, that breakfast became a late lunch...
The worst part about this shoot was the spider and cockroaches. Neither of them were supposed to be in the show, but at the last minute Shannon saw them and said, "You gotta do it." I put up a fight, but as you can see in the end I lost.
